SikaTack® Panel Primer is a black primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin layer, serving as a connection between the substrate and the adhesive. It is designed to be used as a pretreatment for bonding surfaces prior to applying SikaTack® Panel adhesives. This primer is specifically created for the economic, concealed fixing of ventilated facades, where façade panels are discreetly attached to the substructure using the SikaTack® Panel system.
Usage
SikaTack® Panel Primer is applied to increase the bonding strength on porous and metal surfaces like aluminum, wood, ceramics, fiber cement, and natural stone. This product should be handled by experienced professionals only, and tests should be conducted on real substrates and conditions to ensure adhesion and compatibility with the materials.

IMPORTANT NOTE
SikaTack® Panel Primer is a moisture reactive system. In order to maintain product quality it is important to reseal the container with the inner plastic liner immediately after use. Once the surface pre-treatment operation is completed, the cap has to be screwed on.
Dispose of product approx. one month after opening if used frequently or after two months in case of infrequent use.
If gelling, separation or a significant increase in viscosity is noted, discard the primer immediately.
Never dilute or mix this product with any other substances.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Before application, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned, dried, and free from any grease, oil, dust, or other contaminants. Additional pre-treatment processes like scuffing, cleaning, or activating may enhance adhesion on substrates.
Primer Application
Thoroughly shake the can of SikaTack® Panel Primer until the mixing ball moves freely, and then continue shaking for an additional minute. Use a brush, felt, or foam applicator to apply a thin but complete layer. The best surface and application temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C. SikaTack® Panel Primer should only be applied once, with caution taken to ensure sufficient coverage. The amount and application technique are determined by the characteristics of the particular substrates. The container should be tightly resealed immediately after each use.
